A variety of emotional moments in my life have been my inspiration. I am a Northern California artist, who began working in glass thirteen years ago when my husband brought home a microwave kiln from the local hobby store. That was the beginning of my new direction - warm glass (or fused glass as many people know it as). Glass is incredible! I love how light reflects through to reveal its individual properties of character, color, saturation and tone. It is breath taking. The fact that a liquid can be a solid mass and vice-versa is just astounding to me.  Glass is one of those truly remarkable mediums to work with. I hope that everyone works with it at least once in their life.
